Born from personal challenges, Strugglers is a tribute to the resilience within us all!
Do you know the feeling when life hits you with everything at once? That's where I found myself – lying in a hospital bed after 21 hours of labor, an emergency c-section, and a layoff notice from the night before. Honestly, It was enough to crush me..
But amidst life's chaos, as I held my newborn daughter in my arms, all of that pain seemed to fade away. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen♥︎, and even though she was struggling with low weight and severe jaundice at birth, I knew that I had to be strong for her.
As I recovered from the c-section, I struggled with postpartum depression. It was during this time that I realized something important- My struggles, my pains, as difficult as they were, had given me strength. They had made me who I was and connected me to others who were going through similar hardships. It was then that the idea of Strugglers was born.
At that point I felt like I found my purpose. During those sleepless nights of recovery, battling postpartum depression, while figuring out how to be both a new mom and suddenly unemployed, I realized something: Our struggles aren't our weakness – they're our story. They're what make us real. Relatable. Human.
That's why I created Strugglers.
Not just because I needed something to wear that felt true to who I was becoming, but because I knew you needed it too. Whether you're:
